Trade Show Associate Internship

Role Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate intern to join and contribute to our growing team. This program is specifically designed to introduce students and recent graduates to the business side of event marketing in the health, wellness, and beauty industries.

Internship hours are flexible, but a minimum of 20 hours will be required per week. In addition, interns are expected to work at occasional after-hours events. Additional responsibilities and requirements are listed below but not limited to

What you will be responsible for:

  • Intern will be responsible for working alongside and reporting to the Trade Show Manager
  • Working directly with the Trade Show Manager to ship and execute marketing events
  • Create and distribute itineraries that contain detailed information about travel, event schedules, personnel schedules, accommodations, and event specific details.
  • Organize packing lists for scheduled events
  • Pack trade show and event shipments at the warehouse
  • Fill out order forms for each specific event as they pertain to the booth set-up
  • Various ad hoc projects as they may arise

Who you are:

  • Student in the Chicago area
  • You have excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Extremely well organized and strong attention to detail a must
  • Teamwork oriented with experience as a team member outside of the work environment
  • Positive attitude despite stressful and chaotic situations
  • Ability to “think on your feet” and problem solve situations as they arise
  • Able to work independently with little daily direction
  • Looking for an environment to grow and learn with
  • Paid internship and you are able to seek internship credit through your university if you choose
