Role Description:

We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to help maintain warehouse stock and assist in fulfilling orders. Our Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, moving stock between warehouse locations, staging products based on customer orders, and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift, available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year and able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.

 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in reviewing pick sheets and then pulling the right inventory for each transfer order
  • Replenishment for shipping fulfillment and production lines
  • Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
  • Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in a delivery
  • Daily stock rotations and movements as directed by inventory associate
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Who you are:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to lift loads of 60-100 pounds
  • Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate
  • Able to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings
  • 1+ years’ inventory management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently
