Role:

We are looking for a high energy, focused, and dynamic Inside Sales Representative to convert prospects into new customer and develop existing customer business opportunities. This role is an integral part of our VP growth strategy serving as a front-line selling point of contact to business owners through email, phone and social media platforms. The VP Inside Sales Representative will directly and daily interface with our internal teams and external customers and is pivotal to our success expanding the customer base.  You will become a product and process expert here at Vital Proteins, allowing you to deliver exceptional customer service and successfully partner with internal cross functional teams.

 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver assigned month/quarter/annual sales targets
  • Create an outstanding customer sales experience to grow our customers’ business
  • Execute business customer calls into current VP wholesale customers, prospective health care practioners, as well as cold calling to sell new VP distribution
  • Develop existing customer business opportunities through expanded product offerings and securing purchase of the VP innovation portfolio
  • Communicate with customers proactively
  • Establish relationships via cold calling, LinkedIn and other creative outreach programs to deliver a consultative experience
  • Complete follow up connections with educational materials
  • Manage new customer on-boarding process

 

Who you are:

  • You have a Bachelors degree (BS or BA)
  • You have 2 + years inside sales/phone sales experience and are a knowledgeable Account Manager
  • You are passionate about the health and wellness industry, experience in nutrition and/or integrative heath is highly desired
  • You are organized and comfortable working in an independent setting
  • You are a skilled at all forms of communications
  • You are committed to building best in class relationships and providing the highest level of customer service
  • You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced office setting.
  • You have a history of exceeding goals & objectives
  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and have technical acumen to learn new business systems
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
