Associate Project Manager, Commercialization

Vital Proteins is looking to bring in a driven and passionate Associate Project Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Management & Commercialization. The Associate Project Manager will support the Vital Proteins organization and the Project Management Office with the successful development, commercialization and launch of category extensions. This position requires experience in project management, stage gate processes / procedures and continuous improvement.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate the development, commercialization and launch of category extensions
  • Execute PMO processes and procedures for the launch of category extension projects
  • Update project plans, timelines and budgets as necessary
  • Assist with PMO-related continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the overall governance of the PMO process and procedures

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years experience; project management related work preferred
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work well cross-functionally with individuals throughout the organization
  • Experience with and strong skills in project / program management and PMO tools such as MS Project, Planview, Clarity and Smartsheets
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • Prior CPG experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment, with the ability to adhere to aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to work across and prioritize multiple projects
  • Has a positive and can-do attitude
