HR Training Coordinator

Role:

As the Training Coordinator you will be instrumental in the organization and planning of learning and development initiatives at Vital Proteins.  You will be responsible for effectively managing current programs and working with the Director of HR and department heads to identify and build out additional programs.  You must be organized, process-driven, patient and employee-focused to ensure effective execution of programs. The role will report to the Director of HR&Talent and work out of our corporate office in the West Loop.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and scheduling of organization-wide new employee on-boarding and training
  • Ongoing build-out and suggestion of opportunities for continued training improvements
  • Implement and own the continued learning and training program
  • Scheduling and managing of corporate training programs
  • Partner with department heads and leadership to understand the needs of each team and plan/implement training 
  • Look into opportunities for new training and cross departmental education sessions
  • Scheduling training and 3rd party trainers to come in as needed
  • Develop and manage an internal buddy/mentorship program
  • Management and roll out of internal engagement surveys, working with our 3rd party vendor as needed
  • Understanding of business needs and implement training sessions that mirror both employee and company needs
  • Partner with internal education team to align employee education voice and knowledge
  • Additional HR duties or projects as assigned

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • 2-4 years of prior HR and/or training and development experience
  • Comfortable speaking in front of a group and leading training sessions independently
  • Extremely organized and comfortable in a fast paced changing environment
  • Comfortable taking ownership of a process and implementing improvements constantly
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for health and wellness
  • Constantly looking to improve process and team education daily
