Role:

The role of Senior Talent Recruiter is instrumental to the continued growth and success of the Vital Proteins team.  Reporting to the Director of HR and Talent the Sr. Talent Recruiter will work closely with the hiring managers to recruit, retain and develop top talent.  The role will work across all areas of the organization in a recruiting as well as HR liaison capacity.  Candidate must be comfortable in a high growth organization and have a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, sourcing and screening candidates across all areas of the business
  • Managing job postings and communication with applicants, including updating and maintaining of the applicant tracking software (ATS)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors for use of job postings and recruiting websites
  • Working closely with managers and hiring team to establish candidate profiles for each position and draft job postings
  • Maintain accurate data based with all job postings of current positions
  • Scheduling and coordination of interviews in cooperation with interviewing team
  • Evaluating applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications
  • Assisting in the development and the successful creation of company policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the HR team to guiding new hires through on-boarding, including benefits, getting started in the office and supporting systems
  • Working with HR team on owning and supporting all HR functions across the organization
  • Handling miscellaneous office duties and projects as needed

Who you are:

  • You have 5-7 years of previous recruiting experience, basic understanding of HR functions
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or a related field      
  • You are organized and have strong communication skills
  • You are comfortable in a fast paced changing environment
  • You have previous experience in a startup is a plus!
  • You have an entrepreneurial sprit with a passion for health and wellness
  • You are comfortable as a leader and want to develop and grow within the organization
